Hi friend! I’m Jacqueline – an expert in digital nomad life, solo travel, and more recently, traveling in Iceland!
My travels began in 2013, when I broke up with America to live in Paris while getting my undergrad in International Business.
Since then, I’ve only lived in The States for a brief year to graduate from university, as I’d found that living the American dream was no longer for me.
My digital nomad journey didn’t begin until 2018 after quitting a soul-sucking corporate job in Japan on my birthday.
I was newly homeless and unemployed, but I’d booked a one-way flight to Vietnam firmly believing everything would work out. I eventually found a way to work remotely, and I’ve been traveling full-time ever since.
I’ve now been to over 70 countries, lived on 3 different continents, and there’s no end in sight – traveling is what the Gen Z kiddos would call “my whole personality”.
In the last 3 years, my primary base between the stints of country-hopping has been Iceland, where I live in a rural village with my boyfriend, who is a local.
This website is dedicated to sharing everything I know about the digital nomad life, digital nomad destinations, and of course, traveling in Iceland – my home away from home!
